Differentiation of Self

This clinical conference will include clinical interviews that focus on how triangles in the nuclear family influence symptom development such as depression and physical illness. A mother's work on differentiation of self in her nuclear family and extended family triangles illustrate the challenges and the benefits of the effort. Discussion will include the therapist's responsibility to manage self in family triangles.
