    Facilities and Finances

The Bowen Center owns an office suite condominium at 4400 MacArthur Boulevard in northwest Washington, DC. The facility includes a conference/classroom for conducting educational programs, an audiovisual library and studio, offices for clinical consultation and supervision, and two biofeedback laboratories for research and clinical services. It also includes the Bowen Library which houses the Bowen Collection and a portion of that chronicles the NIH period.

The Center location provides close proximity to three area universities where symposia and conferences are often held. The Center is within reasonable distance of three airports and is accessible by public transportation.

The operating expenses of the Family Center come from tuition for training programs, fees for conferences and symposia, proceeds from the sale of publications and videotapes, and fees for clinical services provided in the Family Center¹s sliding-fee clinic.

The Bowen Center accepts tax deductible contributions. Fund monies have been used for capital expenditures such as computers, biofeedback equipment, audiovisual equipment, and for preserving the audiovisual collection.

Contributions are always welcome. If you would like to make a memorial gift, please contact Ruth Riley Sagar.
