Victoria Harrison, MA
Victoria Harrison, MA, trained in the Postgraduate Program in Family Systems Theory and Psychotherapy at Georgetown University Family Center from l975 to 1979, following graduation from Rice University in Houston, Texas and graduate school at Antioch University in Baltimore, Maryland.
She included the study of biofeedback and physiology with a clinical and research focus on women's health and reproduction. She served on the Georgetown Family Centers clinical staff from 1978 to 1991.
She then moved to Houston, Texas where she established a clinical practice. Later in Houston she established the Center for the Study of Natural Systems and the Family, an educational program based on Bowen theory and the study of family systems.
Ms. Harrison has served on the faculty since 1993, commuting to Washington several times a year. She is the director of the Postgraduate Program at the Bowen Center.
Her current research includes a study of reactivity to relationships in the family that affects health and reproduction.
