The Campaign for the Future:
The
Annual Fund & Capital Fund
The Bowen Center has begun a five year fundraising campaign with two funds which address both annual and long-range goals. Your participation, through a five-year pledge to one or both of the funds, is very important to meeting the campaign's goals to:
- Seek funds for the maintenance and ongoing operation of the Center.
- Regularize the income of the Center and stabilize its financial operation overall.
- Secure the future of the Center through capital improvements to better accommodate the teaching atmosphere and the technological capacity of the Center, and through long-term financial planning.

- Five-year pledges of total amounts of $1,000 and above will receive special gifts of thanks. The Center is pleased to recognize all donations and pledges on our website and in print. Requests for anonymous donations are honored.
Levels of Giving for Five-Year Pledges
Bronze $1,000 - $4,000 ($200 - $800 per year)
Silver $5,000 - $14,000 ($1,000 - $2,800 per year)
Gold $15,000 - $24,000 ($3,000 - $4,800 per year)
Platinum $25,000–$49,000 ($5,000 - $9,800 per year)
Diamond $50,000 or above ($10,000+ per year)

Matching Gifts
Contact your human resources office to learn whether your employer will match your charitable gift. Please include the employer's matching gift form.
Stocks and Mutual Funds
The Bowen Center is available to assist you with making your gift of stocks or mutual funds. For information on making sure that your gift is properly transferred, please contact Ruth Sagar at 202-965-4400 or by e-mail. The Bowen Center values stock gifts transferred electronically by the date of transfer.
For All Gifts
You will receive a thank you letter from Anne S. McKnight, Director of the Bowen Center, acknowledging your gift. Charitable gifts must be postmarked or transacted by December 31 to receive credit for this tax year. The Bowen Center's fiscal year ends June 30th.
