Professional Ethics from a Systems Perspective

Friday, February 10, 2017

Codes of ethics for health, mental health, and social service professionals typically are developed from individual theory. Professionals who practice from individual perspectives often have difficulty when the frame of reference is the system rather than the individual. This day consists of presentations and discussion of ethical issues from the perspective of Bowen family systems theory. Participants should expect to be able to think ethically about programmatic and clinical situations from a systems point of view.
