Continuing Education Credits
The Georgetown Family Center is approved as an independent provider of continuing education credit by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners, the District of Columbia Board of Social Work, the National Board of Certified Counselors, and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (ID PCE 5837). Each conference day provides a maximum of 5 hours of Category I continuing education credit for social workers and for counselors. The Georgetown Family Center is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP solely is responsible for all aspects of the program. This course meets the qualifications for 5 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs, LPCCs, LEPs, and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. With advance notice, it is possible to apply payment to a subsequent conference.
To receive the certificate of completion of CEU/CE credits, it is necessary to:
- Prepare to stay for the entire conference
- Sign CEU/CE registration form the day of conference
- Stay for the entire conference and
- Submit a completed evaluation at day’s end.
